A birthday wish
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Megan, happy birthday to you!” With the music, my birthday party starts.
“What’s your birthday wish?” My sister asks me.
“I hope that I can be a hero!”
“A hero?” Every one is amazing.
“Yes ,a hero!”
I know what makes a hero, a hero does something brave or works hard to help others. A hero doesn’t give up when things are hard. Heroes are important people, whether they lived in the past or do good deeds today.
I want to be a hero like Amelia Earhart. Amelia Earhart became the first women pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Amelia studied hard before flying. She spent time with other pilots, gazing at maps and weather charts.
I want to be a hero like Ellen Ochoa. Ellen Ochoa became the first Hispanic woman to travel in space. Exercise is important to prepare for space flights. Ellen exercises until her muscles are sore.
I want to be a hero like Olga Kohlberg. More than 100 years ago, Olga Kohlberg sprang into action to help people learn. She started a kindergarten in Texas. She also helped start public libraries. Many children and adults depended on Olga.
I want to be a hero like Jackie Robinson. He was good at football, baseball, and track. Fans cheered for him when he played. He played his final game on September 30, 1956. After that, he worked hard to change laws that were unfair to African Americans.
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Megan, happy birthday to you!” With the music, my birthday party is over. It’s significance, funny birthday. I am learning to be a hero to help others, and I believe that I will to be a hero in future.

站在世纪的长河上，你看那牧童的手指，始终不渝地遥指着一个永恒的诗歌盛世。唐朝是歌舞升平的唐朝，是霓裳羽衣的唐朝。唐朝的诗书，精魂万卷，卷卷永恒，唐朝的诗句，字字珠玑，笔笔生花。无论是沙场壮士征夫一去不还的悲壮，还是深闺佳人思妇春花秋月的感慨，唐诗之美，或痛彻心扉，或曾经沧海，或振奋人心，或凄凉沧桑，都是绝伦美奂，久而弥笃。
翻开《唐诗三百首》，读一首唐诗，便如拔出了一支锈迹斑驳的古剑。寒光黯黯中，闪烁着一尊尊成败英雄不灭的精魂：死生无畏，气吞山河，金戈铁马梦一场，仰天长啸归去来……都在滚滚大浪中灰飞烟灭。多么豪迈的唐诗呵!读一首唐诗，宛如打开一枚古老的胭脂盒，氤氲香气中，升腾起一个个薄命佳人哀婉的叹息。思君君不知，一帘幽怨寒。美人卷帘，泪眼观花，多少个寂寞的春夜襟染红粉泪!多么凄美的唐诗呵!浅斟低吟，拭泪掩卷。
万卷古今消永昼，一窗昏晓送流年。三百篇诗句在千年的落花风里尘埃落定。沏一杯菊花茶，捧一卷《唐诗三百首》，听一听巴山夜雨的倾诉，子夜琵琶的宫商角羽，窗外有风透过湘帘，蓦然间忘了今夕何夕。
唐装在身，唐诗在手，祖国在心中。
